Form----------------------------Diction

The choice of diction and the context will influence the resulting tone and subsequent mood. 

Tone: The attitude of the ‘speaker’ to the

Subject and/or to the listener/audience.

Mood: The feeling created in the reader/listener as a result of diction, form, and context.

Context: The circumstances that form the situation within which something (a piece of writing) exists. (Time, place, situation, speaker and listener)
