Late assignment make up date/Notes based on assignments/due dates

Hello 12s,

• Next block, I will return your marked assignments. 
• Those of you who have late assignments (2A/B) may submit them at the start of the block.
• Submissions later than that will only be accepted if completed at a group make up time Wednesday 28/18 lunch next week in my class. 
• If you do not attend to write the make ups in class, I'll not be taking them in. This is to attempt to maintain some marks integrity. To this end, do NOT bring work completed ahead of time; it will not be permitted.

• Employ critical theory in your analysis-look at multiple perspectives and motivations.
• Review active voice-get to your point efficiently: Active versus Passive voice review
• Be aware of answering,completely, the questions that are being posed. Embed the question and your answer in your topic sentence/thesis statement. 
• ex. When asked whether the discourse between Katherine and Petruchio is flirtation or fighting, many of you answered the entire question without ever giving Kate's perspective on the matter.  This is an incomplete response.
• The omission, in light of gender theory, is suggestive of you perpetuating a power imbalance between males and females and reads a little patriarchally. 
• It is not a fair reading of the scene because it is a biased/incomplete reading.
• Do NOT share assignments. Assignments with the same points/citations constitute plagiarism. These assignments (both) receive a mark of 0%.
• Argue only what you ideas for which, you provide evidence/support.
